MMW celebrates 3500 global members, a pledge & a new name. Our year in a letter – End of Year Letter by Our Founder & Executive Director, Subhi Irshed



This end of year letter is becoming a tradition that I wholeheartedly look forward to. Like the past three years, in this too, I am inviting you to my reflections on the journey MMW has experienced in 2023. 


In 4 words, 2023 was about reinventing, elevating, extending, and fortifying


A) Reinventing: From M̶i̶l̶l̶e̶n̶n̶i̶a̶l̶ Mental Wellbeing (MMW) to My Mental Wellbeing (MMW)

We evolved from M̶i̶l̶l̶e̶n̶n̶i̶a̶l̶  Mental Wellbeing to My Mental Wellbeing. Why this switch? To widen our impact. We are now catering to all employees in the workplace with crystal focus on younger Millennials and Gen Z. We are also launching a new product in 2024 that is solving the unique challenges faced by middle managers. Click here to read the full rebranding announcement

B) Elevating: The launch of MMW Mental Wellbeing Pledging - Elevating our mission

On October 10th World Mental Health Day, we launched our Mental Wellbeing Pledge, a commitment to making mental health a priority in the workplace. With hundreds of people signing the pledge and sharing their personal stories (click here to read these). This isn't just a statement; it's a movement. C) Extending: The Launch of MMW Ambassadorship Program - Extending the impact


As we were preparing the launch of the MMW pledge and a new short video, many of our community members expressed their interest in being more actively involved in our purpose and mission. They asked, and we delivered. It is heartwarming to see their involvement throughout the 2 ambassadorship days we hosted in Q4 of 2023. D) Fortifying: MMW Community - Our heartbeat in a number: 3500


Our community has grown to a whopping 3,500 young professionals and workplace changemakers. It's a diverse, vibrant group that's the lifeblood of our mission. It's more than a community; it's a platform for passionate individuals to drive change, spread awareness, and create a ripple effect of wellbeing.

We are getting into 2024 with a hunting mindset for impact and  scale . Are you joining?
