MMW is Expanding Globally!

We are thrilled to announce that the Mental Wellbeing Pledge is now gaining traction internationally! Kukunori, the Central Association of Culture and Wellbeing in Finland, a pioneering organization that encourages and inspires action towards developing a new culture of well-being has signed the MMW Pledge.

Markus Raivio, Co-Founder & CEO of Kukunori shared his insights on the significant impact of mental health issues on Finnish work life and his motivation towards signing the MMW Pledge.

The Impact of Mental Health Issues on Finnish Work Life

Markus highlights a stark reality: "Mental health issues significantly impact Finnish work life, leading to 17 million lost workdays annually, costing 11.1 billion Euros per year. Companies face challenges such as decreased work efficiency, increased sick leaves, high turnover, unclear task assignments, and lack of employee engagement and ownership."

Motivation towards signing the MMW Pledge

"We at Kukunori are signing the pledge because of the significant impact of mental health issues on the Finish work life and the vision of this pledge to address this issue holistically. Effective mental health strategies require a shift in organizational culture to support open discussions about mental health and reduce the stigma."
